[”5 not in passionate lust like the heathen” ] So im working late strung out on coffee and thought i’d pass thru - glad I did. This hit my heart like a piercing knife. Initially, I felt like “oh hold up! I know you[God] it was just…[excuses]”…but for real at those moments when lust takes us over - we don’t know God, even if we thought we did its like acting like you know Him one day and then the next day(or minute or second) you’re acting BRAND NEW - and he’s like “oh! so you don’t know me now??” - peep what i imagine at these moments…its like walking down a road called life, hand and hand with him ( symbolic of your relationship/fellowship ) chit chatting, talking, getting to know each other building a strong fruitful relationship ( he’s blessing you more than you can imagine ) and BAM! lust steps in front of you for a second, says one word, strokes you the right way, and they easily whisk you away, like taking candy from a baby - so was our grip that strong with God?? Did we really know and Love him enough?? if so why didnt we say “no”??. Its like at that moment (or second or minute ) you look to God and say “im sorry i have to go with him[lust], he/she is looking real good right now - but thanks!” imagine how a friend would feel whose spent time with us in your lonely hours, saved us, been there for us, and knows us better than anyone, when us decide to ignore everything He has taught us the second lust presents itself - thats pretty jacked up! So all that meant nothing?? *i just picture this on Gods face after I decide to leave him for those moments - this is just my conviction and wild imagination talking* How would you feel if a friend betrayed you like that? Imagine how God feels - his saddness..his need for us??.and in turn for what?? lust brings about STDs, unplanned pregnancies, confusion and lets not forget it begets more lust.. , and we deep down inside, looking out the corner of our eye, knowing we’d rather be back in a relationship/fellowship with him enjoying his fruits. The good thing about; He is a faithful God, and he doesn’t hold grudges and even though we act like we don’t know him, and let lust pull us away and wipe our memory of Him for that moment ( or second or minute ) - he is still right there waiting at the same spot WE LEFT HIM, When we decided “naaaw i don’t care to know you today Lord - but thanks for everything!!” He’s still waiting on the side patient as ever for us, to hold his hand and get to know him again..and no matter how triphilin we seem in this situation he still loves us more than ever and couldn’t be more happy to see us again!! …only if we can start thinking of how He feels BEFORE we decide to act like “we don’t know Him” and let lust take us away…

just my 20 cents - now back to work…

Peace.
