Want to take a quick test and see if you are more self-centered or other-centered. Look at the last email (of any real length) that you wrote and review how many times you were talking about your yourself against how many times you spoke of the individual you were speaking.

I was just writing an email and realized, shesh, is this about me or them?!

Let me re-write.

I have read stories of how the Cable companies hate Hulu (and the like) but this morning at 7:48am it struck me. I was in the mood to watch a little tv (a rare feeling) and I tried to go through tv guide but all that was on tv was paid programming and SportsCenter.

So, I pulled up my Hulu account and with limited commercials I watched the television shows that I love to watch. True, the Cable’s response is DVR but Hulu is free!

Just thinking about how perspective can make all the difference. I have seen multiple beautiful women who were amazingly beautiful at their current stance make drastic changes and become a totally different person. Perhaps my perspective wasn’t correct or perhaps they love who they became but perspective is everything.

Two people looking at one situation and see it totally different is all that really matters.

I posted a status on fb and twitter this morning about how I live such an amazing life because I felt such joy and emotional bliss. I couldn’t keep it in. Well, I felt a little negativity coming my way so I just wanted to take a few moments and describe how I live an amazing life independent of my situations.

First, let’s be real. In the natural, I am not balling out of control, I am chipping away at my debt (on my way to being debt free), I have to take my car to shop, trust, I have real life problems and challenges. However, amiss all those situations, I live a life so amazing that people are envious. Why? Read the rest of this entry »
