What is a #ManMeal?

A Man Meal is a meal that any man can make even with limited cooking skills! I started doing this because I am a man and I want meals that I can easily make and taste better than rice + sugar! So, if you have any suggestions please do not hesitate to let me know…

Now, I can’t take credit for this meal, this is all Ms. Underhill for this one. So thank her! Please check out Decadent Butters, the sponsor for this #ManMeal! :Kabobs

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon sea or coarse salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 red bell peppers, cut into 2 inch pieces
  • 1 large sweet onion, peeled and cut into wedges
  • 1 1/2 cups whole fresh mushrooms
  • 1 1/2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves (lamb, beef or your choice of meat) – cut into cubes
  • 10 skewers
Directions
  • In a large bowl, mix the water, honey, garlic powder, salt, black pepper and ginger. Place red bell peppers, onion wedges, mushrooms, and chicken in the bowl with the marinade. Cover with saran wrap, and refrigerate 4 to 24 hours.
  • Preheat grill for medium-high heat.
  • Discard marinade, and thread the meat and vegetables onto skewers, leaving a small space between each item. *If using wooden skewers make sure to soak in water for an hour.
  • Lightly oil the grill grate. Grill skewers for 10 minutes, turning as needed, or until meat is cooked through and vegetables are tender.
