Among Enemies and Friends

As I sit here on the floor of my current residence, I am among friends and enemies. Paperwork that motivates, inspires and condemns. I sit in the middle of my past and future. My past is staring at me with multi-colored paper saying that you haven’t done it, you never will do it, and give up to give in. While empty pieces of lined paper that are marked with words and thoughts give hope and promise to what is to come.

All of this is surrounding as I sit in the middle. No one else can come around and help me, no one else is able to pick me up out of this mess. It is moments like these that are definitions of one’s life. A moment when you make an active decision to become what the future holds and never what the past says. Purpose and Vision words that few know the true meaning but all use in everyday life.

I’ll define my purpose and executve my vision and become what God has created me to be, will you?
